Built on a strong foundation of love and support, The House Next Door is a sober and safe living environment for women in recovery. Located in Scranton, The House Next Door will leverage Recovery Rises’ current programming, and partner with existing social service organizations to provide resources, healing and continual guidance tailored to each woman and her unique circumstances.

Because we strive to help each woman maintain a successful path to recovery that meets her individual needs and goals, residents will be individually assessed and assigned a case manager. Based on the initial assessment, residents will receive an individualized plan to help them continue on a path of healing and success. Residents will benefit from the following:
To help our residents succeed, we are partnering with Outreach, Center for Community Resources, situated directly next to The House Next Door. Outreach will provide residents with a wide array of services that support their sobriety, and promote family stability and economic self-sufficiency.

Beyond being a safe, beautiful, comfortable place to live in a supportive environment, residents will interact as a family. Together, they will build trust and form lasting bonds by attending meetings, preparing meals, volunteering, interacting and supporting one another in sobriety.
