Who We Are

The Recovery Rises Foundation exists solely to support the addicted and their loved ones. We are dedicated to creating opportunities, developing educational programs, and establishing environments that foster sustainable well-being for those with substance abuse disorders and their loved ones, who are committed to living a life in recovery.

What we do

• Fund projects in NEPA that identify and address unmet or underserved recovery needs; promote abstinence-based recovery; provide opportunities to members of the recovery community; and help people participate in local recovery.
• Host more than 30 recovery support meetings each week at The Hall, our meeting space in Scranton.
• Aid those seeking help for addicted loved ones through our Families Helping Families program’s weekly meetings.
• Partner with local organizations to elevate local recovery and support.
• Empower those in recovery.
• We are developing The House Next Door, a sober living home in Scranton for women in recovery – Slated to open in 2023; with this endeavor, we are closely collaborating with Outreach, Center for Community Resources to provide residents with sobriety, family stability and economic self-sufficiency support services.
